Reviews and accolades
New Zealand International Wine Show 2023: Silver.
Aotearoa Regional Wine Competition 2023: Silver.
Cameron Douglas MS: 92+/100. A classic expression with a power base of fresh citrus and white fleshed tree fruits, fresh herbs and tropical fruits. The acid line touches the palate first accentuating the lime and grapefruit flavours, yet not so much that the white peach and natural fruit spices to show. Crisp, crunchy and dry with best drinking from 2024 through 2027.
James Suckling (JamesSuckling.com): 90/100. Dried apples and lemons with hints of stone on the nose and palate. Some celery. Medium-bodied with pleasant fruit and a light finish.
Tasting Note
Bouquet with enticing aromas of lifted herbal notes, passionfruit and citrus fruits. On the palate distinctive flavours of passionfruit, peach and lime intermingled with layers of minerality, finishing with a fresh mouth-watering acidity.
