Each year, a limited amount of the Chardonnay predominant Blanc de Blancs No.1 Cuvée is set aside for long term ageing on lees and released after several years – giving it the title “Reserve”. Each bottle of No.1 Reserve has been individually hand numbered and hand labelled.

Limited release (800 bottles). From the most eastern block of the vineyard, the first block to see the sun. Uniquely close planted at 8,000 vines per hectare and affectionately known as the 'royal block'. “ANNA VON TIROL” is the fourth ferment to be released from block 12.

It is renowned throughout New Zealand and is winner of multiple International Trophies, Gold Medals and Five Star Awards since its release in 1999. This Chardonnay predominant Blanc de Blancs displays texture, finesse and charm. Typical, complex, Champagne-like characters with savoury layers of citrus and stone fruits.

This Chardonnay is a lightly oaked wine in a refreshing style. Showing ripe peach and stonefruit aromas with hints of nougat and Grapefruit.

First planted in 1990, the Bullnose Vineyard's old red iron soils produce Te Mata's Estate finest Syrah. Bullnose Syrah 2023 is finely balanced and satisfying throughout. This wine has distinctive floral and spice aromas, rich flavours of plum, raspberry and cherry, with velvety texture.
