Vineyard / Origin: Marlborough, New Zealand – fruit sourced from selected sites in the Awatere Valley and Lower Wairau Valley.
Growing season: The 2025 vintage began with excellent flowering, creating the potential for generous yields. A classic Marlborough summer followed, with moderate temperatures and no extreme heat. Light but persistent rainfall during berry maturation required careful vineyard management, resulting in healthy, clean fruit harvested in optimal condition.
Winemaking: Machine-harvested fruit was cool-fermented at 15°C in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and aromatics. The wine matured for six months on fine lees prior to blending and bottling, enhancing texture and mouthfeel. No oak influence was used.
