Tasting note
In the glass, this wine reveals an enticing bouquet of juicy red berries, ripe red plum, and sun-dried cherries, seamlessly woven with delicate spice notes and dried herbs. A second swirl unveils elegant nuances of floral violet, refined black tea, dark blackberry, and a touch of bittersweet chocolate. On the palate, this multi-layered abundance of fruit meets masterfully polished, silky tannins and a refreshingly vibrant acidity that gives the wine a precise structure. Noble, stony minerality and delicate spice bestow a fascinating depth and length. An already accessible, highly elegant Pinot Noir that seduces with its balance while promising outstanding cellaring potential.

Aromas of ripe red and dark berries, orange peel and a savory, stony touch. Medium-bodied, juicy and racy on the palate, with dusty tannins and lively acidity coming through. Firm and earthy in the finish, with hints of spices and citrus. Drink or hold.

The 2023 Bendigo Pinot Noir (single vineyard) is so fine and cherry-laden, fresh, detailed and gorgeous. The smashed tannins in the mouth feel everywhere and nowhere at once, with dried rose petals, exotic spices and a cavalcade of fruit. It’s ripe, supple, balanced, minerally and with energy—excellent.

A wine of quiet confidence and savoury refinement, it has a fragrant nose of black cherry, wild raspberry and waxy rosehip, with hints of Campari spices, dried herbs and earth. Quite tight and shy at present but with plenty to dig into, with good fruit concentration and mineral precision. A very complete and assured style, with firm, well-handled tannins and oak adding structure. A long, dry and savoury finish. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2035.

An excellent bouquet of variety, site, complexity and intrigue. Aromas and flavours of ripe red berry fruits, spice and dried herb, a savoury complexity, fresh dried cherry, red plum and bracken. An abundance of polished tannins and backbone of acidity frame the fruit and savoury qualities. The QR wines always show a seam of soil mineral or site flavours, this wine reflects that idea also. Well made, youthful and lengthy with best drinking from late 2026 through 2033+.
