Cameron Douglas MS: 94/100. A classic wine from a great producer. Aromas and flavours of fresh citrus and white fleshed orchard stone fruits, cape gooseberry and mango, citrus peel and golden kiwifruit. Crisp, saline and dry on the palate with a backbone of acidity and vibrant core flavours that mirror the bouquet. Plush, refreshing and tasty with best drinking from 2025 through 2028+.
James Suckling (JamesSuckling.com): 90/100. Grapefruit, gooseberries and a grassy touch lead on the nose. A flash of stone fruit on the palate quickly gives way to the vibrant acidity that defines this sauvignon blanc.
Tasting Note
This wine is aromatic, vibrant and concentrated, showcasing a lovely structure balanced by a refreshing acidity. Passionfruit, gooseberry, stone fruits, citrus and fresh-cut herbs aromatics leap from the glass while the palate has layered citrus and passionfruit flavours with underlying fresh, herbaceous tones. Well-balanced with a long, lingering finish.
