A fruity elegant Chardonnay. fermented in both tanks and barrels, with aging on full lees. This subtle approach allows the stone fruit flavours and creamy notes to compete successfully with a gentle lick of oak. Master Sommelier Cameron Douglas: "This is a complete wine".

Framingham Chardonnay 2019
Accolades
Wine Orbit (Sam Kim): 94/100. It's gorgeously fruited and elegantly expressed on the nose showing apricot, nougat, roasted hazelnut and oatmeal characters. The palate is equally delightful and attractive, displaying excellent weight and expansive mouthfeel, leading to a lengthy creamy finish. At its best: now to 2025.
Cameron Douglas MS: 93/100 (Excellent). This is a complete wine - aromas and flavours of fresh, ripe, soft white and yellow fleshed orchard fruits, just the right measure of oak with layers of vanilla, cream and baked custard, some fresh cashew and warm stony mineral moments. Medium+ (ish) acidity, plenty of weight and creamy mouth feel contrasted with a super fine wood tannin layer. Balanced and well made with a fine complex finish. Best drinking from now and through 2024+.
Tasting Note
Mealy aromatics, subtle toasty notes with nectarine, hints of citrus and custard. A texured palate with good mouthfeel and harmony. Flavours of stone fruit, oatmeal, stone, and vanilla bean yoghurt.
