Fincher Awatere Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Reviews

Kritiker über Fincher Awatere Sauvignon Blanc 2019Wine Orbit (Sam Kim): 93/100.  It's fabulously lifted on the nose showing kiwifruit, Granny Smith apple, nettle and lime peel aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that's pristine and wonderfully flavoursome. The wine offers excellent fruit purity together with refreshing acidity, making it highly enjoyable

Bewertung FincherAwatere Sauvignon Blanc 2019Rebacca Gibb MW: 92/100. ...this is a single vineyard expression from the cooler Awatere Valley, providing a nettle, mint and pea-infused wine. It's a touch reductive, offering a restrained flinty edge and a textural mouthfeel with a slightly saline edge on the finish.

Tasting Note:

A superb example of Awatere Sauvignon. The Awatere Valley is a bit cooler than the rest of Marlborough so less overt tropical fruit, instead a more european note, tight, elegant and fresh. This highly enjoyable Sauvignon Blanc is filled with White peach, gooseberry, citrus, mineral & sherbet. The palate is generous and flavoursome with excellent fruit intensity, beautifully structured by juicy acidity. It is long and attractive on the finish.
