Brightwater Gravels Pinot Noir 2019

Reviews and accolades

review Brightwater Gravels Pinot Noir 2019Cameron Douglas MS: 92/100 (Premium: A wine with special qualities). Raspberries and purple cherries, roses and pomegranate, suggestions of dried herb and baking spices, plum and toasty wood layers. Fleshy, fruity, crisp, refreshing, varietal and dry. Flavours reflect the nose with textures from tannin, toasty barrel and acidity adding structure and tension. A young wine and could do with some integration time. but also very drinkable upon purchase and through 2026.

Bewertungen Brightwater Gravels Pinot Noir 2019: Sam Kim, Wine OrbitWine Orbit (Sam Kim): 90/100. Attractively fruited and fragrant, the wine shows dark plum, raspberry, warm spice and roasted nut aromas on the nose, followed by an elegantly weighted palate that's juicy and smooth. It's well balanced and appealing with youthful fruit flavours. At its best: now to 2023.

Tasting note

Let's go rambling for wild berries, red flowers and lavender! Perfumed, juicy, and coated with dusty tannins and a mineral character associated with the stony plains it is from.
